After spending his childhood in London where he was born, Marc
Singer, aged only seventeen ventured to New York to find a place to
live. Instantly he found himself involved with the homeless
community and heard rumours of people woh squatted undergorund.
After sometime he finally went to find them and made his first and
only film with no previous knowledge of film making whatsoever. He
spent five years with these udergorund dwellers befreinded them and
using them as his crew to make his masterpiece Dark Days. His film
smashed the festivals and soaked many awards making him one of the
most revered and extraordinary documentary film makers of our time.
