Synopsis:
Peter Kosminsky's two-part drama is based on the experiences of
dozens of soldiers assigned to Bosnia in 1992 to support UN
Peacekeepers and aid humanitarian relief, only to discover that
their presence did nothing to stop the atrocities that mounted
every day. Most of them still carry with them the scars of the
experience, having become caught up in a fierce sectarian conflict
amongst the people they were supposed to protect, and in all
frustration and hopelessness, coming to realize the fruitlessness
